Is there a way I could change a setting within AmiKit to allow me to choose something other than SPTI for uaescsi? I ask because I've noticed that regular versions of WinUAE allow you to select other things for uaescsi like FrogASPI, NeroASPI, or AdaptecASPI. I was going to try to change the uaescsi device settings but, for some reason, when running AmiKit, the uaescsi device option is grayed out and won't let me select anything other than SPTI. I've looked around the internet and found here that apparently it uses cdplayer.library to play music and isn't compatible with uaescsi. With Napalm, even if I use the setup application to use vice and device 0, I still can't get CD Audio. In addition, I used the Analog Audio option in Daemon Tools. I had similar problems with Quake and T-zero but I was able to solve them by setting the CD Player options in those games' setup profiles to vice and device number 0. I've installed Napalm The Crimson Crisis but can't get the CD Audio to play. Well I've seem to run into another problem. #WIPEOUT 2097 ROM HOW TO#Would it be possible to use this combination to install more recent Amiga CD games such as Wipeout 2097 without a lot of hassle? If this is possible, could someone maybe give me step by step instructions on how to get the game up and running after buying Amiga Forever? I was thinking about just getting Amiga Forever and using Amikit to perhaps make things easier. Then there is also the issue with actually installing these games as I don't have any experience with a real Amiga and don't know how the installation process or file system actually works. I've been able to play CD32 games but obviously regular Amiga CDs will not work that way. Since I want to play CD games, having access to a CD drive or a Virtual CD Drive is necessary. My problem is, I don't really know what to do even after installing workbench. I don't know of anyway to do this without having to actually install workbench first. However, newer CD games are quite different and often seem to require a more recent Amiga with an actual graphics card (RTG?). I have been able to play adf files and even CD32 games pretty easily through WinUAE with minimal configuration required. I want to be able to play Amiga CD games such as Wipeout 2097 and Quake.
